If you are looking for jobs for 15 year olds, you know by now it is very TOUGH to get one! Wow, no one seems to be hiring!

You need to keep trying for sure but while you do, there is a way you can make some extra money right from your computer. CashCrate is a GPT / Survey site that many teens are using to make money to spend on anything they want like clothes, video games, DVD's or whatever.

I have been doing CashCrate for several years and the check below is my check from June. Now that is a big check because of my referrals and your checks won't be near as big unless you can get your friends to sign up under you. Nevertheless, it is a great place to pick up some extra cash and they send a check to your house. You will probably need your parents to cash the check unless you have a checking or savings account of your own.

When you are a teen it is frustrating because most things online require you to be 18 years or older. There are lots of ways to make extra money online but most of them are for adults. Are there any programs that will help you make money online that 15 year olds can sign up for? Is there anything that will send you your money that you earn by check in the mail?

There is and the site is called Survey Team. Now this is NOT A JOB as it is just a good way to earn some extra spending money. You will get $3.00 for just signing up and you can make more money after that by participating. It is free to sign up and you will be taking surveys and getting paid to do them. You have to be 13 years or older to join. This site has been around for a long time and it is free to sign up and you never have to pay anything. THEY WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR MONEY.

Do you need extra spending money? How about some extra money that will help you buy that new video game you want? Again, Survey Team is not a job but just a cool way to earn some extra cash and who can't use some of that?

Jobs for 15 year olds are sometimes hard to find, especially in today's economy. It is harder to find a job, any kind of job, than ever before. Unfortunately, 15 year olds are going to be affected by this slow job market too and many of you may be thinking about what you are going to do this summer.

This is a good opportunity for some enterprising 15 year olds to create their own job. In other words, if you can't find a job, go out and make your own. This will entail trying to figure out where there is some need and how you can fill it. For instance, there is always a need for babysitters and babysitting jobs have forever been a favorite of 15 and 16 year olds. So, are there other areas where you have a talent and maybe can find a way to get paid for it?

Lets look at some of the job ideas you may be able to come up with and make some extra money with:

A backyard maintenance business: do you have neighbors who have gardens that need weeding or grass that needs to be cut? You can go door to door in your whole neighborhood and try to find people who need leaves raked, plants planted, shrubs trimmed and other such yard maintenance done. Once you get a few of your neighbors on board, there is a good chance word will spread if you do a good job.

A pet-sitting business: People are always going away on vacation or taking small trips and need their pets fed and looked after. If you start a pet sitting or walking service you might be able to find a whole bunch of people who need help with their pets. You might also offer to wash the pets too for an added charge and if you are someone who likes dogs and cats, this is the perfect job idea for you.

A computer tutor business: If you are a whiz with computers, and many teens are, you might offer your services to your neighbors to help them with their computer questions and problems. Many adults have lots of trouble setting computers up, dealing with error messages, and generally anything to do with computers. If you know how to put web sites up you might also be able to charge them to get their own web sites started and/or to help them with all their computer questions.

A cleaning business: Many homes today are looking for maids and if you are good and experienced in cleaning, you might offer your services. A painting business: In the summer time there are many people who want to have their houses painted. If you have experience in that area, this is a job you and your friends can do together that can make you some great money. During the winter months you can do indoor painting if you have the customers.

A tutuoring business: If you are good at math, playing the piano, or know a foreign language, there might be a need for your knowledge. You might scour the neighborhood looking for people who want to be tutored and often you will find other kids who need help in your area of expertise. The better teacher you are, the more word will spread and the more business you will get.

These are just some of the job ideas for 15 year olds that you can experiment with. Again, because of today's economy, now is the time to start creating your own job rather than trying to find one. Go out there, find a need, and then figure out a way to fill it. 15 year olds and all teens have access to the Internet which is a great avenue for them to start making money online. Teens of yesteryear had to wash cars, mow lawns, babysit, and do who knows how many other things to get a little spending money.

Today though, for the enterprising teen, the Internet can be the start of building a small business online. Jobs for 15 year olds are not that easy to find on the Internet but it can be done. Of course everyone knows about Ebay and teens can sell their video games and other things there to recoup some money. All it takes is a little know how and they can be getting a better price for their games than they would if they traded them in at the store.
